They are very sticky and we've seen videos of guys flying quads without even using a lipo strap to demonstrate how sticky the stuff is. People ask us all the time why we're not using sticky lipo pads and the reason is weight. For example, a Marmotte foam pad weighs about 1 gram vs the sticky gel pad at over 10 grams. That's a 10-1 difference in weight. It's a lot and when we try to design frames with weight constraints, using the gel pads is just too heavy.
